Use this thread for jokes and memes that do NOT relate to Tolkien.

Keep things appropriate or we'll have to sick Grond on you ;)

Ah Deimos, but you mistake me!
On your world, “Dad jokes” may be a groaning malady of terrestrial fathers… but out here among the spiral arms, they are weapons of mass amusement. Entire asteroid courts revolve around a single pun....
So if the galaxy is afflicted, then let it be afflicted with groans, chuckles, and the eternal rolling of eyes across ten dimensions. Better that than the silence of a joyless void.

Agreed. But do try, at least some of time, to move the humour to a higher plane (such as the N-G Global Hawk😉 )

But really....
Schrödinger and Heisenberg get pulled over by a cop for speeding. The cop asks "Do you know exactly how fast you were going?" Heisenberg replies "No, because we knew exactly where we were." Thinking this to be suspicious the cop searches the car and asks them to pop the trunk. He then returns to the window and says "Did you know you had a dead cat in your trunk?" and Schrödinger replies "Well, we couldn't be sure until someone looked." They were both promptly arrested.

I bow before your Schrödinger-Heisenberg routine — though I must note, on the moons of Cranglor-5, that joke collapses into three punchlines at once, and none of them pay their parking tickets.

But very well, a higher plane you request? Then let me ascend!
I once asked a quantum bard if his lyre was in tune. He said:
“Well, it both is and isn’t — but if you listen too closely, you’ll ruin the song.”

And speaking of planes — did you hear about the pilot who tried to land in the twelfth dimension? He got stuck in customs for a millennia because his carry-on contained extra space.

Groan if you must, but remember: in the multiverse, the worse the pun, the stronger the spell.
