Actually the "onesie" he was wearing in "Homecoming" (what Tony Stark called it) was exactly what you'd expect...something like a Cosplay outfit.
That was realistic.

"Brown furniture" (furniture made from real wood) is making a comeback. That is all to the good.
And besides you have to ask yourself:
What kind of furniture was in Bag End?
What was the furniture in Rivendale made of?
What kind of furniture did the dwarves make?
That IKEA.... thing is straight out of Mordor (despite being white) ...or maybe Saruman the White was the previous owner...
