Realistically however that will not have worked - Ring had affected Boromir despite him not really having touched the Ring, and Gandalf points out to Denethor that One Ring would continue to poison his mind even buried deep beneath Mindolluin.

It seems that One Ring works through emotional proximity rather than physical one... hence why Tom Bombadil, who simply doesn't give a fly, would not have been affected by One Ring regardless of how close it was - but would have also lost it very very quickly.

If Aragorn's sword Anduril wrote a stage play about personal hygiene, what would be its title?

Can't figure it out, then click the blurry button:

The Importance of Being Burnished

If Queen Beruthiel wrote a book about her trials and tribulations around training her minions to use their litterboxes what would the title of the book be?

If you really want to know, click the blurry button:

A Tale of Poo Kitties

They were the best of tabbies. They were the worst of tabbies.

The meeting of Aragorn and Eomer:

Eothain: Captain, we must depart immediately. The men are chafing to be gone.

Eomer: Neigh Eothain. Just hold your horses whilst I strive to judge rightly in this difficult matter.

Eomer: Now, who are you and what are you doing here?

Aragorn: I am Aragorn son of Arathorn heir to Isuldur and the Kings of old, wielder of Andur…

Eomer: Okay, okay, I get the picture. Get down off your high horse and just give me the Reader’s Digest version.

Aragorn: Sorry. Can we borrow two horsies please?

Eomer: No

Aragorn: But we’re trying to rescue our friends.

Eomer: Well, that’s a horse of a different color. Eothain! Bring forth two steeds for our newfound friends. Farewell new friends! I hope you find your lost comrades. (Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli ride away.)

Eothain: Sir. Again, the men are really chomping at the bit to get going. They also asked if we could stop by Ye Old Ointment shop on the way back to Edoras. (Whispers): “You know, for that chafing issue I mentioned earlier.”

Eomer (under his breath): I gotta get me another Eored. How’d I get stuck with this group of nags?
