It looks like he’s channeling some inner Elsa there. “Let it go! Let it go! The Silmarils are mine, Yeah, Don’t cha know?”🤣

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing but was debating if I should say it!

(He does have this secret fortress where he keeps his Silmarils, so... it's not too much of a stretch!)

That’s okay! Tom Bombadil blends in pretty well. The first time I saw that picture, I thought that was the original one, and I was like, “Why in the wide world of Arda would Fingon be singing about Tom Bombadil?!?!” Then I eventually found the actual original version, and I was relieved to see it was not so. Gave a good laugh, though!🤣

It’s really interesting to pay attention to everything that’s happening in that scene, with everyone’s reactions to Fëanor’s bold move. There’s Finwë, Fingolfin’s sons, Maedhros, Maglor, and a couple other sons of Fëanor standing present and watching this unfold. Such drama!!

This was the moment I realized that Finwë,as much as he was a good king,was a terrible father...
One of his sons had just threatened the other and he took Fëanor's side
How else can you tell your own child that they'll never be enough for you 🙂

Ent doesn't recognize the author signature by the trunk of the tree, can't bend sideways to make it out, and isn't going to go to the website also embedded in the tree's trunk...but whoever did this one, some of the detal is really nice..!

See, for example, the fingernails on the right hand of the blonde chap.
And note the touch of driving the focus to the pair by the excellent combination of 'crispness' with them vs. the less distinct 'blur' of all the background, though still giving the background sufficient 'detail' of appearance to have it 'fit' the whole.

He only detects one small but odd thing/spot, and refuses to let it detract from it.
