What are you watching?

Brand new from IU (and featuring V from BTS) this little 5 minute minidrama:
Alien invasion? Zombie apocalypse? Future dystopia? You decide. (English captions available)

Just arrived in the mail, so I haven't yet watched it.
It's "M" (1931) dir. by Fritz Lang starring Peter Lorre.
It was mentioned in an article about censorship in general, and I looked it up.
I got the Criterion 2 disc DVD version (2004). It's in German with English sub-titles.
Anyone familiar with it? NO SPOILERS PLEASE.

I saw it in an art theater a number of years ago. A classic, of course -- and on YouTube, for those not wanting to shell out for the deluxe edition:

Someone uploaded IU's entire Golden Hour concert to YouTube!
I have a feeling it may not be there long, so catch it while you can.

Update: It wasn't. 😜

Until it comes up again, and I'm able to replace it, here's a link to a previous post featuring one song:

Today I watched Chirin's Bell (チリンの鈴) a 46 minute animated film, based on a book. It's an unusual story about a lamb and a wolf, and the way it plays out is reminiscent of a folk tale.

My wife and I tried to watch Oppenheimer. We made maybe 45 minutes through that mumblefest. We are glad we didn't pay to see it at the theatre.

We are watching The Brothers Sun. Very good!

In the mood for a show of light fare requiring little thought, having a cast struggling to find its 'fit,' and dealing with only the most surface social issues of its time, I've chosen to binge-watch Star Trek TOS. I confess - I had forgotten many things. It's fun.

I just watched and finished (finally, as a friend has been suggesting it for years) Freaks and Geeks last week. It was an amazing show. Nuanced, heartfelt, complex, honest, and at times pretty rough (which IMO was a good thing, because being a teenager is often rough). Ended really well, and I thought the character development was really interesting. There were no shallow characters within the main cast, and even the supporting cast ended up being shown as having complex motivations and reasons for acting poorly if they did so. In fact, the ending made me cry like a little baby. Doesn't hurt that one of the main characters ends up becoming a Deadhead haha. I liked it so much that I am planning on re-watching the entire show immediately (it's only 18 episodes so that won't be too hard).

I also just watched the show Reservation Dogs, which was also excellent.

As far as new things I am planning to watch, I have a friend that has been suggesting The Legends of Vox Machina for quite some time, so that is next on the list.

Just finished Challenger: The Final Flight on Netflix. I've read a lot about Challenger, saw videos of the disaster, etc. but this documentary was fascinating. It was really interesting to hear from the actual people that worked on the shuttle and who were there when this happened.
