I decided a few weeks ago to start re-watching BBC's Merlin! Probably my all time favorite TV show, and I'm noticing things that I didn't notice before. I've thought about making a Merlin thread if there's enough people interested in discussing it. (I know @Fingon_Findekáno would be, but I'm curious if there's anyone else!)

I actually started watching it recently: can't remember if it was late last year or earlier this year when I started. I've just finished Season 2.

I'm a first time viewer, apart from one episode I saw airing on TV when I was a little kid (we were travelling in France, so it was dubbed in French). It kind of confused me back then, both because I saw it out of context, and because it seemed very different from the legends of king Arthur that I was already familiar with.

I managed to find the series on the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) iview website. Free to view, as are any shows that they've aired on TV. :3
I certainly wouldn't mind discussing it, though of course I don't yet know what happens in Season 3 and onwards. It does make me chuckle regularly, I like Merlin's sense of humour. 😂

Watching an unexpectedly pleasant Anthony Hopkins flick from 1999 - The Peak. Anthony Hopkins, one of Ent's favorite actors - a good range of skills.
Hopkins was 59 when this was made, and Ent's impressed with his activities in the film. Not quite as spry as Jackie Chan when he was 60, but still pretty agile.
Anyway, worth the watch if you're a Hopkins or possibly an Alec Baldwin fan.

Seems a Kodiak Bear thinks they'd be a worthy treat, anyway...

The bear is played by "Bart the Bear" for the curious. He does a good job of looking menacing. Even mean.

Bart the Bear: 1977 - 2,000 - he passed the year after The Edge was filmed. Cancer.
Starred in several movies, including The Bear, White Fang, The Great Outdoors, and Legends of the Fall among others.

I watched Project Hail Mary a while ago. Honestly I was a bit underwhelmed. Rocky was cool, but it felt like he was the only special thing about the story, everything else was pretty generic. I know a lot of people really liked it, though, so maybe that's just me.

Currently watching Andor with my dad, that's really fun. It's very different from other Star Wars movies, but not in a bad way. It kind of does it's own thing, but it still respects the original story, and doesn't try to change or re-interpret it.
