Who is Fionwe?

Fionwe is another name for Eonwë, the herald of Manwë. At one point in time, Tolkien considered him to be the son of Manwë.

"Fionwe" does not exist in the "canonical" Silmarillion. He was the son of Manwe, and was later changed to Eonwe, the herald of Manwe.

The prophecy you mention, the Second Prophecy of Mandos, is also of dubious validity, but that's a complex situation. I'm sure you'll find a rather full discussion of it if you do a search in the forums.
