Fram, son of Frumgar, was the fourth Lord of the Éothéod. F
Biography
Fram ruled over his people when they dwelt in the northern end of Wilderland. The main thing he is remembered for, is slaying the worm Scatha.
He claimed the dragons horde after killing it, but the dwarves believed that it belonged to them. However he simply mocked them by sending a necklace made of Scatha's teeth to the dwarves, saying: ''Jewels such as these you will not find in your treasuries, for they are hard to come by''. Insulted by his message, the dwarves slew Fram.
The capital of the Eothaid, Framsburg, was founded by Fram, but it was later abandoned by the Eothaid, when Eorl The Young led his people south to Rohan.
