Also known as tree-people, Galadhrim were elves who came from mixed ancestry. They were mixed breeds of Noldor, Sindar, and Silvan. They were settled in the forests of Lorien and were ruled over by Celeborn and Galadriel. Their language was Silvan Elvish along with a dialect of the Sindarin language. The royal army of the Lothlorien was also named Galadhrim. [1]
History
Ever since Lorein was established in the Second Age, Galadriel lived there undisturbed. They prospered and grew their skills under the lordship of Galadriel and Celeborn. However, their peace was disturbed in the Third Age 1980 when the Balrog was unleashed from Khazad Dum, Moria. Some Galadhrims ran south to the Dol Amroth while others sailed over the sea to Valinor. Lorein was left deserted as the Galadhrims made their way to the Undying Lands. The remaining people of the Galadhrim followed Celeborn to East Lorien.
