Lothiriel, born in TA 2999, was the daughter of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth. In TA 3021, after the War of the Ring, she became the Queen of Rohan after marrying Éomer, the King of Rohan. [1]
Biography
Lothiriel had three older siblings Elphir, Erchirion, and Amrothos, and was the only daughter of Prince Imrahil. Her notable cousins were Boromir and Faramir. She married Eomer of the House of Eorl when she was around twenty-two years old, and the royal couple had a son named Elfwine. [2] Elfwine, the Fair, resembled Prince Imrahil in appearance. He has crowned the nineteenth King of the land of Rohan after his father's death in FO 63. Elfwine possessed several characteristics of his ElvishHeritage. The date of Lothíriel's death is unknown. Different Versions of The Legendarium The wedding of Lothíriel and Éomer, the Third Marshal of the Mark, was held in TA 3021. While in some versions, they were said to have married in FO 1.
Portrayal In Adaptations
In the online game version of The Lord of the Rings, Lothíriel, with Swan-knights of Middle Earth's help, defends Dol Amroth from the threats of Corsairs of Umbar in the absence of her father.
