Biography
Galadriel is a committed warrior holding the title Commander of the Northern Armies. She has sworn on her brother’s grave to hunt and end Sauron once and for all.
Background/History
Galadriel first appears as a child dwelling in Valinor making a paper ship the way her brother Finrod taught her. Another child destroys her ship and given her temper, Finrod needs to prevent her from striking the child and tried to give her some counseling and advice.
In the passage of time, Galadriel meets and marries Celeborn, but never sees him again after he leaves to take part in the War of the Jewels against Morgoth. Celeborn vanishes and is presumed dead.
Morgoth is eventually defeated, but his chief servant Sauron escapes. Finrod takes the lead in tracking him down, but Sauron kills him, after which Galadriel pledges to continue his mission to locate and destroy Sauron.
The series presents many of her non-canonical adventures and exploits along the way in this quest.
As noted in the wiki entry for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, the series will show her development from who and how she is first seen to the “Stateswoman” she will eventually be as she is seen in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Character/Attributes
Galadriel appears at first to be a determined, grief-driven, obsessed individual with nothing but revenge on her mind. As time moves forward however, underlying this appearance a real devotion to vigilance against evil and concern that the evil of Sauron is close and people are in peril can be seen. Both fearless and resourceful, she will continue to move forward on her quest against Sauron.
