Yep.

Yes, sorry, I usually don't 'go there'... have just been battling the Machine on many fronts of late. Its stranglehold is very tight, and the cattle hard to stir up into a stampede.Goodness this devolved into a very happy discussion.
Hey don't apologize, believe me I understand the overwhelming amount of darkness that has amassed at the behest of our so-called global leaders. Let us just hope that the divine spark of life within humanity is enough to keep us from submitting to the darkness.I will refrain from posting more downers. (I hope) and go in search of a new batch of uppers. .
You are very kind.believe me I understand
Wow, I started a rebellion! (I completely agree with you)Hey don't apologize, believe me I understand the overwhelming amount of darkness that has amassed at the behest of our so-called global leaders. A decent rebellion now and then is not a bad thing. Especially as real 'rebellion' is against tyranny. And those with the 'divine spark' are indeed to withstand tyranny in all its forms. Yet even there, a great somnambulance has set in.Wow, I started a rebellion!
I don't mind if folks like RoP either. They are also however, fans of..... dare I say... Rings of Power.
Just not for everyone else.'ignorance is bliss'.
The explanation for Frodo not dying, is that he didn't die! Its really quite simple.
Gawd, I hate Reddit. So. Much.Speaking of which, I just saw a Reddit question asking if any members of Thorin's company ever visited Bilbo after the Battle of the Five Armies. Several people of course mentioned Balin, to which one person replied "Really? I've watched the movies several times, but I don't remember that scene".

You could have replied (briefly) that he needs to join the The Tolkien Forum, that there ain't no one that does "elaboration" better than we do.😄I do find some legitimate questions and answers on there occasionally, among the nonsense. My biggest problem with it is the ephemeral nature of the form itself: things rapidly sink out of sight. For example, in response to a question about Caradhras, I mentioned the obvious parallel with Old Man Willow in Book I, "one of many parallels throughout the work". Someone asked if I would come back and elaborate, but I feel it would hardly be worth the effort, as few but the OP would likely see it by now.
