Were there high 🧝elves in the ⚔️wars of the War of the Ring?

I think, here's one example of High Elves fighting in The War.

From Appendix B, The Tale of Years:

About three weeks after The Fellowship departed Lothlorien, it is attacked from Dol Guldur...

'Three times Lorien had been assailed from Dol Guldur, but besides the valour of the elven people of that land, the power that dwelt there was too great for any to overcome, unless Sauron had come there himself...the assaults were driven back; and when the Shadow passed, Celeborn came forth and led the host of Lorien over Anduin in many boats. They took Dol Guldur, and Galadriel threw down its walls and laid bare its pits, and the forest was cleansed.'

Although, it may be an important point that the elves apparently did not leave the confines of Lothlorien to go to war until after the fall of Sauron.

unasked for note

I'd say "High Elves" often refers to the Exiled Noldor, but it can also be used as an equivalent of Eldar, and thus, in such a context, include the Sindar.

Eldar is my interpretation of the term as found in Appendix B, for example [The Second Age, the second paragraph], and my interpretation of Frodo's use of the term when he meets Gildor and Company and hears the Sindarin name Elbereth. [I realize this example has a bit of external "linguistic history", but I won't go into that here].

Also: Hammond And Scull (The Lord of the Rings Reader's Companion, chapter Three Is Company):
"(Elsewhere Tolkien equates Eldar with the High Elves (see note for p. 43), . . ."

Christopher Tolkien (Introduction to Children of Húrin): " . . . and they are called the Eldar, the Elves of the Great Journey, the High Elves: distinct from those who, refusing the summons, chose Middle-earth for their land and their destiny. They are the 'lesser Elves', called Avari, the Unwilling."

As I say, just a possibly fun side note.
