Yes, he does look shorter than some of the others!
I guess they used models because
elves are tall, but it's stupid to do since Orlando Bloom isn't very tall and was made to look short in comparison. Yeah,
Legolas might be shorter than Erestor and
Glorfindel, but he shouldn't have super tall elves next to him.
This is the kind of thing that makes no sense to me... PJ bothers to get super tall guys to play the extra elves but some medium guy to play Legolas, not only that but he has short legs. Maybe it was to have
Aragorn look tall in comparison... I don't know. I'll allow for a mediun height Legolas, but there need not be
giants next to him!
Who possibly imagines Legolas with short legs? I just don't get the impression.
Am I the only who imagines Legolas as being like 6'0 140 lbs at most, with dark hair, more narrow face, deep dark eyes and a musical and cheerful voice?
I know it can't be easy to find someone to play an
elf, but all the effort put into this movie you'd think (or at least I would think) they'd find a more elfy person for the main elf role.
but to get more on topic here - I don't know who played the extra elves. But I'd like to know about
the one who was standing behind
Arwen (the short one in silver) when the fellowship departed...
