Hello all, I've been pondering lately the route that Boromir took from the White City to Rivendell. I've appreciated reading your posts and I'd like to get some other ideas.

Well, I don't remember Boromir's route but I have a tricky questions somewhat related to this topic -

Who raised/created the Misty Mountains - which Vala ?

He left Gondor and traveled through Rohan. I forgot whether he left with a horse, or was supplied with one from the Rohirrim. Any-who, he went though the Gap of Rohan and traveled north via the North-South road. At the ruined city of Tharbad, he lost his horse trying to cross a river. He then walked it out to finish his journey.

He did not travel through the Misty Mountains.
