That is amazing...I've never seen a "polar" squirrel before.Squirluman The White, outside my window last year.
I do not meddle in his affairs, for he is subtle and quick to anger.

Hey folks... I don't really have a tarantula. (That is a stock photo. )
I am in St. Louis, Missouri. That is amazing...I've never seen a "polar" squirrel before.
What country (or state) do you live in?
I'm originally from St Louis (Florissant actually)...l left when I was 19.I am in St. Louis, Missouri.
I had never seen a white squirrel until this one arrived a year or two ago.
Apparently, there is a town at the other side of the state which is known for its white squirrels:

Jokes aside, I too have once seen a white squirrel.
Not any squirrels of any color? That is kind of sad.I don't think I've ever seen any squirrels
Well I've seen photos and videos but I've never seen a wild one ...they do live in a large area in Zagros mountains in my country but I've never been thereNot any squirrels of any color? That is kind of sad.
They are not always in urban environments in the US... depends on climate and if there are a lot of trees.Well I've seen photos and videos but I've never seen a wild one ...they do live in a large area in Zagros mountains in my country but I've never been there

Here in the desert we have ground squirrels...they live in (wait for it ).... the ground 😁, in burrows.
Mostly I see the round tailed ground squirrel. They remind me of chipmunks.

I'm very lucky... I live 2 miles south of the Pima Indian reservation (and I will say it right now that I'm not a fan of putting Native Americans on reservations, but it was done 'way before my time.) the Rez is open desert which continues north until it meets the National Forest.THIS.IS.ADORABLE.
I live near a big city so there isn't much nature here, you're lucky you live near these little angels
Wow that's really coolI'm very lucky... I live 2 miles south of the Pima Indian reservation (and I will say it right now that I'm not a fan of putting Native Americans on reservations, but it was done 'way before my time.) the Rez is open desert which continues north until it meets the National Forest.
20 miles east of me is the boundary of more National Forest land so all that is open and undeveloped (and always will be).
And just a 100 yards north of me in the neighborhood is about 4 acres that is still zoned for livestock, so I walk up the street and see a few goats and cows and horses and chickens. Kind of cool to still have that in the fastest growing county in the US (Maricopa county AZ).
You make a great point, one of the animals I don't think I've ever seen irl either.I don't think I've ever seen any squirrels
They say it's a small world...but this is ridiculous. I grew up in Hazelwood and lived in Florissant for several years!I'm originally from St Louis (Florissant actually)...l left when I was 19.
Its interesting you don't get squirrels the in the city, in Cape Town (which is the only place I've seen squirrels) there are loads of them.I live near a big city so there isn't much nature here
Wow...I lived about a mile from the Halls Ferry/140 intersection. They say it's a small world...but this is ridiculous. I grew up in Hazelwood and lived in Florissant for several years!
