He prefers my textbooks, the others are out of h's reach and he is both scared of them and wants to destroy them,he... he's weird...a little bitHe must have good taste, then. Be sure to hide your Tolkien volumes.
Yeah, but I can't guess if he'll afraid or not,he is scared of things his siblings weren't and he isn't of the things that are supposed to be scary for him!
Creeeeepy 😬Well, my little glowy-eyed terrors would like to compel you to slave in the kitchen for them... (and one of them has, in fact, chased dogs before!)

(if you're unsure of the reference, look up the involvement of 'Tevildo' in an older version of Beren & Lúthien!)
Now you've reminded me of my own brush with the spawn of Ungoliant. One of Shelob's more colorful relatives was hanging out (literally) by my carport today.
I will treat it like a wizard and not meddle in its affairs.

I think I'm going to faint... or scream....or scream and then faint
How big are those disgusting creatures?Speaking of spiders, the metal fence on one side of my house appears to be imitating Mirkwood today. Minus the mirk, cause the weather is very bright and hot. Normally these large black spiders are hiding in the grooves or gaps of the fence, but since they don't want to be cooked by hot metal, they've all come out to rest on their webs. I counted eight from what I could see, but there are probably more further along the fence.

They vary in size, but around an inch, more or less. How far they stretch their legs can make them look bigger. How big are those disgusting creatures?
