It was a long time that spanned 3021 years, and it measured from the initial fall of Sauron when he waged war unprepared out of hatred for High King Elendil, but the king was not alone and formed the Last Alliance with High King Gil-galad. The Third Age ended with the final fall of Sauron when Aragon tricked him out at the Battle of Black Gate while Frodo and Sam destroyed the ring, the only thing keeping Sauron’s spirit alive.

Castamir led a revolution against Vinitharya. He had planned the revolution with many people from the Nobles who disapproved of his rulership. Their forces gathered in Osgiliath. |
